Beginning in 2013, Lanchester Energy is the latest addition to the Lanchester Group.
The initial focus of the company has been renewable energy generation for the benefit of the Lanchester Group, where more renewable source of power will be utilised as opportunities arise.
At the beginning of 2015 the renewable generation for the Lanchester Group comes from;
• 3 x 500kW EWT wind turbines
• A 41 kW Solar array
• A 50 kW wind turbine
The installation of renewable energy generation has involved a reorganising of electrical infrastructure to allow our own renewable energy to be used first, before drawing power from the National Grid. On leased sites, innovative deal structures have been negotiated for renewable energy generation.Lanchester Energy is looking out for early stage commercialisation opportunites in renewable energy. The company has experience and resources from the larger group which makes it an ideal vehicle for commercial development.
The group has experience of trading all over the world, has almost 1 million square feet of building space and a wide range of people capabilities.
Some possible new energy ventures include
• Low cost 50kW wind turbine
• ‘Printed’ Solar panels
• Domestic scale wind energy capture
• Various waste to energy projects
